Traffic Archive displays public transport observations and operates an optional paid API.

API and billing records

We store a one-way hash of your API key, Stripe checkout/customer/subscription references and request counters to provide paid access. Stripe collects and processes payment details on its hosted checkout. Card details do not pass through this website. Stripe records may remain subject to its policies and legal retention requirements.

Browser and operational data

A newly created key is temporarily stored in this tab’s session storage so it can be recovered after checkout. Save it securely and use the confirmation page’s Continue button to remove the temporary copy. Operational logs may contain request paths and network metadata. Please send keys only in the Authorization header, never in a URL.

Providers

Hosting is provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Basemap tiles are requested from OpenStreetMap. Those requests disclose ordinary connection metadata to the tile provider. Our server fetches public aircraft and vessel observations from their named providers.

Retention and requests

Regional observation snapshots are retained for 30 days. Fixed historical samples retain their published dates. Account and billing references are held to operate the subscription and resolve billing enquiries. Contact contact@merlintheai.com to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
